Beltana Winter News

Well hi everyone what a cold wet winter we have been having this year. The tempruture has been low and very cold and chilly over the last few weeks even the days havent been fining up as much as the last couple of winters. But on the bright side this means the country side is also still looking green and amazing with plenty of feed around for the sheep and cattle.

The Beltana saltbush cafe and resturant has been a welcoming change for guests at the station with just about every guest joining us for roast dinners and homestyle cooking in the warmth of the woolshed most nights. The atmosphere has been amazing and it gives us a chance to meet everyone and spend one on one time getting to know them.

Out and about yesterday we were through the sand hill which are covered in an abundance of food and the pooched egg daisys are starting to come out and Graham even spotted some stuart dessert peas out also so am thinking it will be a good year to see them hopefully in the next month or two.

Well stay warm everyone and look forward to catching up next time you are thorugh.

Cheers
