Welcome to Holowiliena Station, a working sheep station steeped in history, now offering an opportunity for guests to experience the outback.

Situated 50km from Cradock on the eastern edge of the Flinders Ranges, Holowiliena was settled by the Warwick family in 1852. The fifth generation of station owners invite you to share the story of this special place.

Holowiliena Station’s Bed and Breakfast Cottage is perfect for a couple or single who want to relax, unwind and enjoy farm life. Evenings will be serene by the open fire inside or outdoors under the stars before you go to sleep in the antique four-poster bed. By day, join the fully guided History Tour or explore the self-drive station tracks.

The Shearers’ Quarters is authentic outback group accommodation, with beds for up to fourteen people. Extra guests can roll out swags or plug in a van to external power points. The renovated country kitchen has all the necessities, plus an old wood stove to warm your meals and your heart. There’s also an outside campfire area for stargazing, marshmallow toasting and making memories with your loved ones. Some guests have been spending family holidays here for three generations.

Bush campsites are available – no services or facilities, just old-fashioned outback camping in remote, private places.
