Moolooloo Station
Moolooloo Station is a working sheep station in the Northern Flinders Ranges with a long history dating back to 1851. The station is over 600 square kilometres in size (60000 hectares) so there is plenty of room to really enjoy the remoteness of this spectacular location.
Moolooloo Station offers an exclusive station experience for those wishing to enjoy the rugged beauty of the area. We have accommodation options including a well equiped shearer’s quarters sleeping up to 24 people, the remote Blinman Hut providing spectacular surrounds with kitchen and bathroom facilities, and various bush camping options with bush toilets. All accommodation options are booked to only one group at any time.
While you are here enjoy the numerous 4WD and bush walking experiences the region has to offer. We highly recommend the 1 hour drive (high clearance required) to walk in to our stunning and private Ferguson Gorge which will be opened to the public for the first time in 2022. There is also a great deal of historic significance on the station and in the surrounding towns and properties. Or just relax by the creek bed with a fire and enjoy the bush and the stars. A point of difference is that you can bring your dog or horse along. We have accommodation accessible to 2WD vehicles, and even a campsite suitable for caravans, but the majority of the station is 4WD only. Please call if you have questions.
