Mern Merna is a working sheep and cattle station situated approximately 36km North of Hawker in the Flinders Ranges.
We offer a range of accommodation in the heart of the Flinders Ranges including homestead and cottage accommodation overlooking Wilpena Pound and the Elder Range. Mt Aleck Homestead is perfect for a family getaway offering accommodation for up to 10 people. If you’d like something a little more romantic try the Johnson Cottage which was once a fallen ruin that has been completely restored.
If you like something more authentic try out our camping spots and range of 4wd tracks. The 4wd tracks will take you high and low, look over the beautiful landscapes of the Flinders Ranges or go and check out the old Mern Merna school ruins situated on the old Ghan railway line.
